I just finish watching the first 3 episodes of another Korean Drama, My Girl. This drama is from the same director of a previous hit comedy/drama Sassy Girl, Chun-hyang. This Girl is really a piece of work. She can just go about telling lies and having people believing in her. The soundtrack is quite lively. Below is just the synopsis of the story. Lee Dong Wook stars as Seol Gong Chan, the heir to a large company fortune owned by his ailing grandfather. As he lay on the sick bed, he spend his days regretting his past decisions and won’t die till he meets her granddaughter. One day Gong Chan meets the young and energetic Joo Yoo-rin (Lee Da Hae), who instantly reminds him of his aunt. This gives Gong Chan an idea to make his grandfather’s dying wish come true - but begins a complex relationship between the young couple. And of cos there is also Park Si Yeon who acts as a spoilt young tennis pro who sets her sights on Gong Chan - and will do anything to get him! When Gong-chan (Lee Dong-wook) meets the lively and beautiful Yu-rin (Lee Da-hae), he notices the resemblance between her and his long-lost cousin, whom his dying grandfather has been searching for. He hires Yu-rin to stand in for his missing cousin as a final gesture to his grandfather - but his own growing feelings for her threaten to ruin everything. The real drama begins when Gong-chan’s ex-girlfriend, a pro tennis star (Park Si-yeon), enters the scene determined to win him back. My Girl was a Top Ten hit in Korea in 2006, aided by the appearance of hot new actor Lee Jun-ki. The King and The Clown star plays Seo Jung-woo, an unscrupulous playboy who sets his sights on Yoo-rin.
