I was talking with my friend the other night about insurance over dinner. He works as an Insurance Agent and asked me what insurance did I bought. I told him I only bought for my personal health and life insurance. I didn’t even read what was in the policy as well after I received it. He told me that I should be careful and read it so that I know everything in the policy is as what I requested for. I was never really bother with it and just paid for the premium every month. He is right, I should at least confirm what is written in the policy.
Beside my personal health and life insurance, I know there are Home Insurance, Car Insurance and Travel Insurance. Out of these I only have a car. So thats is the other insurance that I bought beside health and life insurance. I believe everyone that have a car should get a car insurance no matter how a careful driver he is. Accidents do Happen. Like Murphy’s Law, “Whatever can go wrong, will go wrong”. Its always better be safe than be sorry!
He told me beside that I can also get a Pet Insurance for my mum dog. How does Pet insurance come into the picture? If something happen to the dog, my mum would have to bring the dog to the vet and she would have to pay for those vet fees. All of this will be covered by the pet insurance. To have a peace of mind, go get some insurance. But please do some survey or research on all the insurance company to see which will gives you more benefits and coverage than the other. Websites like Thriftyscot.co.uk offers comparison between different insurance company, so please check out which is better.
