Came across this website called Thoof. I believe Thoof is some sort like Digg. In the website, you can find news, articles, websites, videos, photographs as well as other links from the internet. All the stuffs on Thoof are actually user/member generated. One of the thing that I like about Thoof is that it uses a special algorithm that can detects a reader interests. It will then display the stories to each individual reader taste. This will be in a personalized page with all the personalized news stories that the reader will find interesting.
The creator of Thoof started this website because they would like to have a place where anyone can find all the news they are looking for in a place. With this, we don’t have to visit so many websites to find all the information we need. They have even added or implemented this new featured called the ThoofRank badge. This badge is for bloggers so they can see how interesting the article is by looking at the percentage on the badge. If you are a blogger, you can sign up and test it out yourself. You can see the badge here and on this post which I have submitted to Thoof. Submitting my post was easy but however to implement the ThoofRank Badge it is kind of difficult for me as I’m on a MultiUser Wordpress. The Iframe was stripped out from the post. I had to go to the database and insert the iframe.
