Haha.. Finally I played the infamous game, DOTA. I know it is some sort of Warcraft game but I didn’t played it as I thought it was just like the original where we have to build buildings, make units and send them out to war. Its something different than those games I normally play. I’m still trying to get myself familiarize with the keys that I need to control my hero. Always got myself dead because I didn’t select back my hero after make a spell cast. Will have more offline practice before going to the Battlenet again. Haha… As usual, those stupid pro DOTAs’ are calling those new players noob (newbie). Fools, they were once a noob themselves as well.

I recommend you play with your friends first. If they call you noob, you can easily smack them. XD
yeah, lots of players calls noob to newbies. They are pretty serious in winning. I recommend you try mastering one hero at a time with the AI version.

haha… so far I only played 2 games. one with my friend over lan and another time on BattleNet. the players call me noob as i still wasn’t good at using my skills.
do they win any prize if they win in battlenet? it was suppose to be a fun game and they are like playing as though their life is at stake.

yeah, they supposed to have fun. ^_^
but some players enjoyed the game they play when they are winning and we know that most players are like that. It is a childish behavior that most people can’t overcome.
Honestly, I’ve been in that stage and I’m glad I was able to overcome it by experiencing consecutive loses in any games I played XD. And because of that, I was able to learn on how to learn from my mistakes instead of whining about it.

ras, you can always reuse your fingers and toes… if not, you can include your teeths as well.
do you have the answers for blueserver? they require me to answer some question before i can register for a battlenet account.

I usually check http://www.dota-allstars.com for resources. Knowing the items and heroes is the best way to start. ^_^

August 9th, 2007 @1:43 am
What is blueserver? another battlenet server?
August 9th, 2007 @4:46 pm
ras: you also learn from there? i also not sure what i should do there. i can’t find the place where it says which heroes is best using what weapon or equipment.
web: blueserver is a malaysia base dota server. to register for a username, i need to do a test which has 10 question regarding dota.

wilson, u may visit the dota-allstars webpage to learn bout each hero’s skills and memorize all items & items effect. u wil actually get to find out each items usage (mana cost, money cost, cooldown time, orb effect not, etc) and u’ll start to realise n combine urself which item is useful for which hero.
in fact a hero can use many items but it depends wat’s ur hero role in a game itself.. a fighter? defender? farmer? healer? then match wat item to buy to support the role u want to b..
August 10th, 2007 @7:10 pm
or u should join their community chat n forum to get to know more…
no matter how, msia prefer battle.net more than blueserver. blueserver supposed to b foreign server so it require a high speed network.
