Market research is an interesting topic. I used to work with a market research company a couple years back. Back then I was in the Media department where we usually deals with data from the media area. This media areas includes television, radios, newspapers and magazines. I was dealing more with the television area. I remember I used to check the data for consistency and error. The raw data are not readable and we had to use a converter to convert all the raw data back to normal data where it can be process by media application.

It was interesting when I started working there. Did you know that they actually recorded all television shows 24 hours a day? When I the amount of video tapes I was amaze by the number. Yes, they were still using video tapes back then. Back to the point, after the raw data has been processed, the market research staffs will make a report and send it out to their clients. As to what is in the report, I can’t tell you that here. There are people that actually read some of my posts.
