There have been reports by other bloggers that they have been successful in withdrawing their PayPal money to their Al Rajhi debit card. I have applied for Al Rajhi debit card for a couple weeks now but didn’t registered it with PayPal yet because some bloggers did posted about their failure to receive money to their debit card. Irene, Jimmy and even Lillian tested it and mention on their blog that they didn’t received money from Al Rajhi. I did told Irene to wait awhile before making rash decision and email PayPal to ask for refund.
Now after another week, we are starting to hear that people have successfully withdraw PayPal money to their Al Rajhi debit card. However, they are not please at the exchange rate that was given to them. Consider it a blessing that now we can make withdrawal to our own bank account with our local banks debit card. Making withdrawal using VMI, Accent Visa Card or even eTrade account are much more costlier than withdrawing using our own local debit cards.
Aceone blog has got his money using Al Rajhi debit card.
Azwan Hadzree success with Al Rajhi debit card as well.
Webgrrrl’s Citibank Credit Card withdrawal success
I’m still considering the option of using Al Rajhi debit card as there is a limit of USD500 withdrawal each time. As for using my VMI debit card, I can withdraw at a higher limit, even more than USD1,000 sometimes.
VMI (Withdrawal USD1,500) fees
Withdrawal from PayPal: Free
Accepted by VMI: USD2.00
ATM Withdrawal: USD5.00 (RM3,000 each withdrawal)
Monthly Fees: USD2.70
Total fees per month: USD9.70 = RM32.003 (rate of 3.299)
Updated:
Al Rajhi (Withdrawal PayPal USD1,500)
Withdrawal from PayPal: USD5.00 * 3 = USD15
Accepted by Al Rajhi: RM1.00 * 3 = RM3.00
ATM Withdrawal: Free (RM10 at other banks ATM)
Monthly Fees: Free
Total fees per month: USD15.00 = RM49.485 (rate of 3.299) + RM3.00
Did I miss out any fees for VMI or Al Rajhi? Can someone send me send me how much we are charged for using Al Rajhi debit card?

Thanks for the link
There’s no fee to own Al Rajhi except for the low xrate. No monthly fee, no annual fee.
They will only charge you if the withdrawal is made at other banks. Since they r not under MEPS yet, RM10 per transaction.

joharin:
VMI has changed their routing number and since then, we can no longer withdraw from PayPal to VMI. Please do not get it as you will be wasting your time. I’m now using the AlRajhi Debit Card for my PayPal withdrawals.
As for the verification part, are you trying to verify your PayPal account? I had my PayPal verified with my credit card. It should work the same for debit card. There must be something miss out from your steps.
