My boss kid was having his full moon birthday and all the staff in his department pool in together and bought his kid a gold chain. I don’t know why Chinese always like to give and accept gold chain as a gift. Anyway, the money was pooled together for this gift. The thing that I don’t like is that I don’t even get to see what kind of gold chain was bought. I wonder why my colleague even bother to give a gift for his kid. Apparently my boss didn’t even say a word of thanks to us and just accepted it. He is also stingy as well and can’t even buy us a lunch for appreciation.
