There are still many websites out there that have will have a popup appear when you load their website or when you leave their website. Some even put them in place so that whenever you click on a link, a popup will appear. Even though most internet browsers now have popup blocker, they still manage to made it popup.

I’m using Mozilla Firefox and have the pop up blocker turn on by default. Sometimes the built-in popup blocker doesn’t work on certain sites while for some website, I have to allow popups such as Maybank2u or GSC websites. By having those pop ups, the webmaster will get a revenue from showing the pop ups. Sometimes it can be quite lucrative depending on whether your traffic are from.

I hardly think anyone would want to click on a popup ads. Mostly these ads are either gambling, porn or pharmacy products. Have you ever click on a pop up ads before? Does you browser completely able to stop all pop ups from popping out? Imagine how you will feel when are having some kids beside you while you are surfing online and suddenly a porn ads pop up.
