Wow… The latest WordPress 2.5 has been released. This is one of the biggest story for the last 24 hours for those who are using WordPress as their blogging platform. I have seen the snapshot of the WordPress 2.5 and it looks really good especially the dashboard. I still haven’t tried it out. Now that is has been released, I’ll be upgrading to the latest version soon.

Among the major features that are worth mention are:

• Dashboard Widgets
• Multi-file upload with progress bar (been waiting for this)
• Bonus: EXIF extraction (great for Photographers/Photo Bloggers)
• Search posts and pages

• Built-in galleries

Man, the features are all really great. If you haven’t seen the snapshots, you should go and view it. Better still, have an upgrade and you can test it out for yourself.
