Picture frames

Do you think giving picture frames as a gift is cheap? Every year during our office Christmas gift exchange, I see a lot of people receiving picture frames as their gift. Personally I think that giving picture frames as a gift is cheap. How many of us actually place pictures in these frames and put it on the table for display? If I want to receive picture frames, let it be the one that can support different type of memory card. I prefer storing all the pictures in the memory card and slot it in to the picture frame. I can have different pictures showing on the frame at an interval. Just like a slideshow. That would be a more decent picture frame as a gift.
