Bad hot weather

The weather is getting hotter and hotter lately. Even after taking a cold shower, I will be sweating again in less than 5 minutes. The ceiling fans are on full speed but doesn’t seems to cool me down. I’m planning to get an air cooler but my friend said that it doesn’t really work and suggest me to get an air refresher instead. I still don’t know where to get it as the electrical shops that I went to doesn’t supply it. Some doesn’t even know what is it and suggest me to get an air conditioner instead. I do not wish to spend so much on something that I will only be using like maybe just a few months.
